Directions and ingredients Hairspray may cause the hair to heat up to astronomical temperatures and stick like glue, in-turn creating difficulty to remove hair from the styler.
1. Divide hair into knot-free sections no wider than 3cms by parting hair down the middle from front to back.
2. Plug the styler into a 240V power outlet.
3. Switch on the styler by pressing the on/off button. The LCD screen will illuminate showing the manual mode.
4. In manual mode you can select your required temperature setting by pressing the temperature button. See Temperature/Manual Mode Guide for reference to hair type. For Intuitive auto curl control mode press the on/off button again which switches to the 3 auto curl settings (1 press, for tight curls, 2 presses, for medium curls, 3 presses, for loose curls). NB: The indicator light of the selected setting (+ temperature) blinks on the LCD screen and stops blinking when the styler is ready for use.
5. Clip the upper layers to the top of your head and start working on the layers underneath.
6. Select the adjustment of the direction of the curl by pressing the curl direction button, according to the desired result.
7. Bring the styler close to the section of combed through, tangle free hair, ensuring there are no stray hairs within the section and position the styler where you want the curl to start and facing the head.
8. With your free hand take hold of the tip of the section ensuring it is STRAIGHT, with NO STRAYS and place ALL OF THE SECTIONED HAIR, NEATLY in the funnel situated between the two handles ensuring you are not pulling your hair before activating the handles.
9. Once the section of hair is in place, close the handles to allow the hair to automatically enter into the styler.
10. Keep the handles closed until the beeping stops (after 3, 4 or 5 beeps depending on the selected time setting), refer to Intuitive Auto Curl Control Mode Guide. Ensure your grip does not loosen, as this will cause the styler to spin the other way and create a tangle.
11. Gently release the hair from the styler by opening the handles. Do not pull on the styler to free the hair. If you do this you will ruin the curl effect.
12. Allow your hair to cool before handling or combing.
13. Repeat all desired sections until you have the number of curls you would like.
14. After use, turn the styler off by pressing and holding the on/off button for 1 - 2 seconds & unplug the styler. Allow to cool on heat-resistant mat before storing away.
