Description
Information Chilblain Ointment by McGloins, is a topical anaesthetic for the temporary relief of chilblains. Chilblains are patches of red, swollen, and itchy skin. Chilblains are thought to be caused by a combination of cold weather and poor circulation. Extremities such as the toes, fingers, nose, and earlobes are most at risk. The ointment has Benzocaine and comes in a yellowish transparent paste.Warnings Always read the label. Use only as directed.  If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional. For external use only. Store below 30 degrees Celsius.

Directions and ingredients How to Use Before going to bed, bathe the chilblain in hot water, dry thoroughly. Apply to the skin only. Adults and children: Gently massage a small amount of cream into the affected area. If required, cover it with lint or a bandage. The chilblain ointment can be used up to 3 times a day. Resist the urge to scratch, as this will further damage the skin. Always keep chilblains warm and dry.

Ingredients 1g contains Camphor 68mg, Benzocaine 20mg, Balsam-Peru 20mg, Phenol 9mg in a Lanolin/Paraffin base.
