The inside liner is a soft non-woven material. This is made up of polypropylene and polyethylene and helps with rapid absorption, quickly drawing the fluid through to the absorbent layer. The absorbent layer is made of a mixture of cellulose fibres and what we call Super Absorbent Material. The Super Absorbent Material is a polyacrylate crystal, which absorbs fluid and turns it into a gel, locking it away to prevent leakage. The cellulose fibres have been bleached with a modern process that produces minimal by-products. Bleaching is an essential step that removes impurities and enhances the absorbency of fibres. For Real-Fit Underwear, the outer coveris a Kimberly Clark patented elastic film laminate which provides enhanced fit and comfort. The absorbent outer cover is a cloth-like material which is a polyethylene film and polypropylene. Synthetic elastic is also used in the side cuffs. The Real-Fit products are ultrasonically bonded along the edges and the internal layers are held together with adhesive.
