Calmoseptine Ointment is an effective, multipurpose moisture barrier that protects and helps heal skin irritations. People benefiting from this ointment are those needing protection, or with impaired skin integrity related to incontinence, moisture, such as perspiration, diaper dermatitis and minor scrapes & burns. It also temporarily relieves discomfort and itching.
This ointment may be used for the following: diaper rash, skin protection resulting from incontinence, haemorrhoids, pain relief, itch relief, compression therapy, pressure ulcers, skin folds or areas at risk of fungal infections, minor cuts, minor burns, insect bites, eczema, psoriasis, and protection for peri-wound skin.

Provides a physical moisture barrier.
Mild antiseptic ingredients may help prevent secondary bacterial and fungal infections of the skin.
Menthol has been shown to cause vasodilation, which may increase circulation to an area and aid in healing.
Acts as a counter-irritant, and temporarily relieve discomfort and itching from rashes, eczema, insect bites, and contact dermatitis such as poison ivy, oak and sumac.
Warnings
For external use only. Not for deep puncture wounds. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion contact a physician or poison control center immediately. If condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, consult a doctor.

How To Use
Cleanse skin gently with mild skin cleanser. Pat dry or allow to air dry. Apply a thin layer of Calmoseptine Ointment to reddened or irritated skin 2-4 times daily, or after each incontinent episode or diaper change to promote comfort and long lasting protection.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Menthol 0.44%, Zinc Oxide 20.6%. Inactive Ingredients: Calamine, Chlorothymol, Glycerin, Lanolin, Phenol, Sodium Bicarbonate, and Thymol in a suitable ointment base.
