Information AQUASUN ACTIVE SPF 50 is a broad-spectrum high protection natural mineral sunscreen for every activity. AQUASUN ACTIVE SPF 50 creates a protective layer on the skin that reflects the UVA and UVB rays away from the skin. It is rated as SPF 50, providing a broad-spectrum protection from the suns rays. The main ingredient in our sunscreens is zinc oxide, a natural mineral which forms the UV protective layer and is considered to be reef friendly. Zinc oxide makes our sunscreen formulation thicker than traditional sunscreens however, it ensures no nasty chemicals are absorbed into the skin or washed off into our oceans. Comparatively, traditional chemical sunscreens are absorbed into the skin with ingredients such as oxybenzone, octinoxate and octocrylene which absorb the UV rays and converts them to low levels of heat. These chemical ingredients can pollute our marine environment and are harmful to coral reefs.Warnings For external use only. Store below 30° Celsius.
