APOHEALTH Children's Paracetamol 1 to 5 years is for the effective relief of fever and pain in younger children.
It can be used to provide effective, temporary relief from the fever and pain associated with teething, immunisation, earache, headache, symptoms of colds and flu. APOHEALTH Children's Paracetamol 1 to 5 Years is suitable for children with asthma who are sensitive to aspirin and NSAIDS and does not contain aspirin or ibuprofen and is gentle on the stomach. Strawberry vanilla flavour.
How to use
Use strictly as directed. Shake thoroughly before use. For safety, child resistant cap fitted. Please ensure the child-resistant cap is engaged by tightening the cap and then turning it backwards until a clicking sound is heard. To remove cap, hold down firmly while turning anti-clockwise. Can be mixed with water or fruit juice if required. Give correct dose every 4-6 hours as necessary (maximum 4 times within 24 hours). Do not exceed the recommended dose or administer for longer than 48 hours at a time without doctor's advice. If you know that your child's weight is less than the weight corresponding to their age in the table, choose the dose for their weight. 1 - 2 years (10 - 12 kg): 6 - 8 mL 2 - 3 years (12 - 14 kg): 8 - 9 mL 3 - 4 years (14 - 16 kg): 9 - 10 mL 4 - 5 years (16 - 18 kg): 10 - 11 mL 5 - 6 years (18 - 20 kg): 11 - 13 mL 6 - 7 years (20 - 22 kg): 13 - 14 mL 7 - 8 years (22 - 25 kg): 14 - 16 mL 8 - 9 years (25 - 28 kg): 16 - 18 mL 9 - 10 years (28 - 32 kg): 18 - 20 mL 10 -11 years (32 - 36 kg): 20 - 23 mL 11 - 12 years (36 - 41 kg): 23 - 26 mL

Do not give to children under 1 year. APOHEALTH Children's Paracetamol 1 month to 2 years, which contains a higher strength of paracetamol, may be used for infants aged 1 month to 2 years. If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 131 126, New Zealand 0800 764 766) or go to a hospital straight away, even if the child feels well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated.
